Making Your Own Youtube Video To Make Money Online

There was a time when the internet was used only for research. As the popularity of the internet grew, so did the way that it was used. Today, millions, in fact billions, of individuals rely on the internet for entertainment. If you are one of those individuals, there is a good chance that you have heard of YouTube before. YouTube is an online video website that allows website visitors to view homemade videos and much more, but that is not all that you can do with YouTube. If you wish, you could also make and share your own video which is an ideal way to start your Video Marketing.

Making your own video? That sounds like fun doesn’t it? A large number of internet users, ones of all different ages, are making the decision to make their own videos. Many of these videos are used to share information with others, showcase a favorite scene from one of their favorite television shows, express their beliefs, or just make a comedy video. If you are interested in making your own video, whatever the purpose of that video is, you are advised to start thinking about video ideas.

Start thinking about video ideas? Yes. That is what you will need to do. Unfortunately, too many individuals read too much into making online videos. This does not necessarily involve their video content, but how the video will be made and uploaded to the system. If you are planning on making a video for YouTube, you can relax and worry about other things. This is because the uploading process, used by YouTube, is probably one of the easiest one that you will find online.

Of course, the first step will be to make your video. To do this, you will need a standard video recording device. These devices most commonly include camcorders and webcams. As previously mentioned, you can make just about any type of video that you want. However, it is important to remember that your video will be seen by thousands of internet users, at the least. Make sure your video will be appropriate. If you plan on putting any graphic materials or foul language in your video it may be a good idea to make note of it in the video’s title. Later on, you should be able to make this title.

When making your video, it is also important to note that YouTube has a number of limitations. Those limitations include the length of your video and the size of your video’s file. YouTube currently requires that your video be no more than ten minutes in length. It is also required that your videos be less than 100MB, in size. However, aside from their other rules, stipulated in their terms of use agreement, there are no other restrictions. This means that you can create as many videos as you want to. In fact, if you would like to make a video that is longer than ten minutes, you can do so by making it a two part video.

With YouTube, you must be able to save your video using a moving making software program. There are a number of different programs that you can use, such as MovieMaker and IMovie. These programs can easily be obtained, but most computers, especially newer ones, already have the software programs installed. Once you open your video on your computer, with one of the previously mentioned software programs, you should be able to edit and save your video. Of course, you do not have to edit if, if you do not want to.

To upload your video to YouTube, you must first sign up to be a member, if you haven’t already. It is free to sign up for a membership. The signup process is just used to attach your information to your videos and keep track of all of them, especially if you decide to upload more than one. Once you signup for YouTube, you should see an option that will allow you to create or upload your own videos. You will need to follow those directions. Depending on the type of internet connection your have, your videos could be uploaded and ready for viewing in as little as a few minutes.

What Purpose Does Online Gaming Serve?

Is gaming a waste of time?

This is a questions that is argued time and time again. The non-gaming community fail to see the value in gaming and the gaming community? Let’s take a look.

Gaming unlocks the imagination. Nowadays video and computer games are so bright and colorful that you can’t help but have your mind get swept up in that virtual world. Early education enthusiasts claim that having a healthy imagination is important to development, so something has to be said for gaming.

Gaming encourages problem solving. Yet another educational benefit. All video games have some sort of puzzle-like component that you have to figure out in order to progress through the levels.

Gaming can help teach important life lessons- for example, right from wrong. I know that more press is done on the subject of video gaming fostering negative behavior and anger, but it can also be argued that by experiencing or engaging in games that have morally “wrong” elements to them a child learns that it’s wrong. (As a side note however, it might be helpful if a parent is also around to talk about and help the child formulate the right moral opinion)

Gaming can prevent serious illness. (Yes, I expect some head scratching over that comment, but it’s true!) There are links to how, and how much, we use certain parts of our brains that are linked to development or resistance of illnesses like Alzheimer’s.

There are certainly other benefits that could be offered up, but I think the above is enough to validate the point that gaming DOES serve an important purpose.

It’s Easy To Find Content For Your Website

As a blogger or website owner, you already have your own little piece of virtual real estate, just sitting there trying to make you money. However, the more pages of quality content you add, the more changes you’ll have to make the kind of money that makes you feel like you’ve got a web-business instead of a hobby.

The problem is that writing bunches of content is exhausting to say the least — or is it?

Nicole Dean, a successful Internet Marketer, someone who I enjoy learning from, teaches these methods to build internet real estate without tears.

1. Grab a keyboard

If you’re comfortable writing, and enjoy it, this is the way to go. However, I still recommend that you read the additional methods so you can incorporate some of them as well.

2. Find a ghostwriter

There are countless ghostwriters online who will write content for you, for a reasonable price. Find one that can write to sound like you and pay him/her well. Guess what? You just made your life much, much easier.

Another huge benefit of choosing Option #1 or #2 is that you can also submit those articles to the Article Directories, which will provide you with incoming links and traffic, too.

If you’d like to save time, I recommend you check this out: Submit Articles Faster with These Tools

3. Buddy up!

Find friends who would like to be columnists for your website and ask them to write unique content for you in exchange for links back to their websites. They’ll gain exposure and you’ll gain content. This works great except that you’re dependent upon others for your content. I suggest that you only use this in part while using the other methods as well.

4. The Article Directories are your Friends

Article Directories are databases of articles that have been donated by website owners. Why would they do such a thing? When you publish their articles, you must include an author bio at the end with links to their website. They get free advertising and you get free content. It’s a win-win.

5. Discover the benefits of private rights content

PLR articles are the flexible solution to your content needs. You’ll get many articles on any topic that you might need, cheap. PLR content can save you time and money, while offering you the content that you crave. If you’d like to learn more about using PLR in your internet business. I recommend you check out free PLR info.

What The Heck Are Botnets?

Botnets are networks of computers that hackers have infected and grouped together under their control to propagate viruses, send illegal spam, and carry out attacks that cause web sites to crash.

What makes botnets exceedingly bad is the difficulty in tracing them back to their creators as well as the ever-increasing use of them in extortion schemes. How are they used in extortion schemes? Imagine someone sending you messages to either pay up or see your web site crash. This scenario is starting to replay itself over and over again.

Botnets can consist of thousands of compromised machines. With such a large network, botnets can use Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) as a method to cause mayhem and chaos. For example a small botnet with only 500 bots can bring corporate web sites to there knees by using the combined bandwidth of all the computers to overwhelm corporate systems and thereby cause the web site to appear offline.

Jeremy Kirk, IDG News Service on January 19, 2006, quotes Kevin Hogan, senior manager for Symantec Security Response, in his article “Botnets shrinking in size, harder to trace”, Hogan says “extortion schemes have emerged backed by the muscle of botnets, and hackers are also renting the use of armadas of computers for illegal purposes through advertisements on the Web.”

One well-known technique to combat botnets is a honeypot. Honeypots help discover how attackers infiltrate systems. A Honeypot is essentially a set of resources that one intends to be compromised in order to study how the hackers break the system. Unpatched Windows 2000 or XP machines make great honeypots given the ease with which one can take over such systems.

A great site to read up on this topic more is The Honeynet Project (http://project.honeynet.org) which describes its own site’s objective as “To learn the tools, tactics and motives involved in computer and network attacks, and share the lessons learned”.

Computer Gaming Headsets For Tactical Superiority

Computer gaming has long relied on the use of communication among players to function as a more effective unit. This is particularly true among heavily team oriented genres, like massively multiplayer online, real time strategy, and first person shooter gamers, an example of each being World of Warcraft, Company of Heroes, and Counter-Strike. Traditionally, this would have been done simply by typing to the other player, but this was a horrible inconvenience when taking the time to type an entire sentence out could result in a lack of focus on more pressing concerns. Therefore, computer gaming headsets have been becoming more popular every year to give players more freedom to play the game while increasing the speed of communications among players.

Extra Game Processing

Many computer gaming headsets are designed specifically with gaming in mind. That means that many models actually include game processing technology chips inside (at least, if they are USB), so audio quality will be superb, giving players crystal clear stereo or (in the past year or so) surround sound audio with dozens or even a hundred different audio channels at once. However, one of these headsets can also function as a computer phone headset, so you can talk to your buddies on Ventrilo, TeamSpeak or Skype as needed with the same level of audio fidelity.

USB computer gaming headsets, as mentioned previously, often include some type of processor built in because they don’t use the processor on sound cards in your computer. Therefore, the only way to get similar levels of audio fidelity is to do the processing right on the headset, so you aren’t left with decreased audio quality just because you aren’t using your X-Fi sound card from Creative. However, you can still likely get a slightly higher level of audio fidelity from your computer gaming headset if you purchase one that can hook into your sound card, as the sound card likely has a much more powerful audio processor located on it.

Some good computer gaming headsets include Sennheiser, Logitech and Plantronics, although there are many different companies out there that offer great products. To get a better idea about the relative quality of a particular headset, head online and check out sites that offer reviews of the products (doesn’t matter between customer and professional reviews of products). Even if you just go out to your local Best Buy or Circuit City and pick up a modestly priced headset, you likely won’t be disappointed with its performance. For the quickest and most efficient type of communication in games, you need a computer gaming headset.
